Meet Susan
First Breath Life Coach
Throughout my life, I have had the desire to encourage and support people in their journey in becoming fully who they are designed to be. Initially, I came alongside countless students in Chicago, as a public school teacher and service coordinator. Then, in Colorado, I facilitated the process of moving from chaos to order with clients through my home organizing business, A Home for Everything. Furthermore, I guided groups of women through my First Breath study to embrace dignity for themselves first, so that they can treat others with the same dignity. I am also a wife, mother, as well as home educator where I am daily called to come alongside my family members to support and encourage.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a Minor in German from Indiana University and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University. I currently live in Mesa, AZ with my husband, our two daughters, our dog, Howard, our cat, Ella, who we call Kitty, our 2 guinea pigs, Norman and Beverly, and our 3 bunnies, Fitz, Smokey and Brownie. As a family, we run a Bed and Breakfast on our property and from the looks of it, perhaps a petting zoo here soon. In my downtime from the home school table and the barnyard, I love cooking, gardening, hosting guests, writing, crafting and storytelling, but behind everything I do is a deep motivation and desire to bring beauty to this world and to leave whatever I have touched better and more beautiful than I found it.
